Tawau Hills Park (Taman Bukit Tawau)

Tawau Hills Park (Taman Bukit Tawau)  is one of the Sabah state's reserved forest, a place for jungle trekking, camping, bbq and swimming. In this forest reserve park you could hike up to Mount Magdalena and Mount Lucia or to the nearby hot sulphur spring located 3.2km from the entrance.

We were welcomed by a canopy walk to the reserved forest.

The forest reserve park has clear stream.

The Sabah state's reserved forest provides a life float ring for emergency with a signboard " Swim At Your Own Risk " near the river. There's no lifeguard.

Giant Bug. This bug looks like those bugs found in the 'Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind', cartoon from Studio Ghibli.

The giant bug is bigger than the big toe.
