Spider Attacks Spiky Bug

Caught this cute spiky bug in the garden. It is the larva of yellow ladybug. I dropped it into the spider container and immediately the spider attack it with its venom but did not bite its prey and suck the juice as usual.

My spider never used web to wrap its prey but for this ladybug larva it started building lots of web and took a long time to bundle this tiny little spiky bug with web the next day.

This is its first and the last time being fed with yellow ladybug larva. The larva of the ladybug didn't fit its appetite.

The picture above, my spider took along time staring at its prey. Unlike cockroach, the ladybird still able to move around even it was bitten and it was quite immune to the bite...it took a longer time to be paralyzed.
