Building Survival Shelter

This sunday, we were having Survival Shelter workshop with a Malaysian native instructor. The most interesting part that i always looked forward to in the workshop is the food made by the natives. They cooked the food with firewood, leaves and bamboo which tasted special to me.

This is our shelter 'A'. A simple shelter built with wood and palm fronds for survival purpose if you get lost in a jungle and stuff...like tat. Talk about getting lost...it will be from day to dawn i wouldn't be able to complete my shelter because i took hours to knit a palm leaf for the survival shelter 'B' below.

This is the roof for shelter B.. Knitting the palm fronds provide a better shelter.

These are the yummy food cooked by the natives with firewood, bamboo and leaves. The favorite food that I craved most is the tapioca barbecued in bamboo cylinder and the leaf-wrapped rice.
