财神爷 Cai Shen Ye (God Of Wealth and Prosperity) statue
We visited the street markets at Waterloo street during Chinese New Year festival in Singapore. There's a God Of Fortune / God Of Wealth statue displayed on an hexagon shaped stage. The 12 Chinese Zodiac Animal Signs information are displayed around the stage of the statue. The 财神 Cai Shen (财 Cai meansWealth and 神Shen means God) are believed to bring good fortune during the new year.
Long stretch of street markets selling Chinese New Year souvenirs, New Year Flowers and Fruits, Clothes and etc.. along Waterloo Street.
