Palong for tin mining (the photo is taken at night so it's not a clear picture)

There's a tin mining museum exhibition room at Riverfront displaying the history, historical pictures, and mining tools used by the miners in Perak during the tin-mining era. Perak was once a state actively involved in the tin mining industry. They even rebuild a palong (sluice to wash ore and retrieve tin ore) outdoor to show visitors about the tools used during the tin mining era in Perak.

The night view of the river walk at Kinta Riverfront in Ipoh.

Along the river you could see a long stretch of neon led light trees and colorful tents of the stalls selling food, flowers etc. I visited Riverfront during the Chinese New Year therefore there are plenty of stalls selling Chinese New Year seasonal flowers that night.

乳茄 ru qie (Solanum mammosum / Titty Fruits) attached to branches
and a variety of golden yellow and orange potted chrysanthemums, etc..

The Solanum mammosum / Titty fruit is a non edible auspicious fruit as an ornament to put in the house during the Chinese New Year. The yellow and orange Chrysanthemum sold in the night market is an auspicious flower symbolizes joy and optimism for the new year.

The picture above is a  view of a long stretch of flower stalls selling Chinese New Year plants during the new year at the Kinta Riverfront.
